Requiem 2021

"Requiem 2021” was a digital art show that took place September 9th and 10th, 2021 at the Bohemian National Hall in NYC. It allowed audience members to step into the universe Slovak composer genius Juraj Filas created with his requiem dedicated to victims of terrorism. This performance commemorated the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the victims who passed on that day and afterward.
Our vision is to bring the whole piece to concert halls and to cathedrals; September 2021 marks the first chapter of bringing this monumental piece into reality.
The show was a 40min immersive digital experience projected on the walls of the National Bohemia Hall. In addition, a VR exhibition happened at the after-party, featuring VR works by Czech visual artist Markéta Gebrian, America’s Got Talent semi-finalist Alex Dowis, and VR Director Anna Eva Kotyza.
